Class 2 - Tuesday March 3, 2015
Today we learned deeply about the timelines in the World War 1. Here are some topics to sum it up.
Woodrow Wilson, Georges Clemenceau and David Lloyd George took a big part in the France-British-US alliances. No one from Germany was allowed to take part in negotiations. Britain wanted to make a fair settlement with all the countries, like treaties. All of Germany's colonies were taken by the Allies (France, Britain, USA). For your information, Germany was a young country back then.
They also must pay the payment that they have destroyed in France during WW1. It almost cost around 20 years to rebuild. The USA president wanted France to feel safe, and he also wanted to establish League of Nations to protect World Peace.
If you are wondering where are the days in these blogs (posts), it was the days that our teacher was absent, we did whole day Ldls or even floods occurred that we couldn't reach to school to get our information for the blog.

Week 3 Day 2 Class 2
We studied more about the Howitzer, how it lobbed its bullets over the no man's land over to the trenches. There was another weapon called the 18-pounder, it was to shatter metal pieces like a grenade into the enemy.
We learned about USA, how they comeback into the war in 1917 against Germany. 135 countries took part in the war, but only some made a lot of choices and decisions. World War I was actually fought in Europe, not in USA. Most of them wars were fought in trenches.
World War One was the most horrible and terrible world war in the history right now. They have a long-term industrial revolution, political wars and social changes.

Class 4 Tuesday January 20, 2015
We learned about the countries that were involved in WW1. How they asked questions for the need of war, the citizen's complaint towards the governments about the war. Some of the soldiers had disgraced the king's motto "God Save the King" into "Never mind the King", and one of them soldiers called Private J. A. Hopper said that it should've been "God Save Us".
The German thought the same. Some of them can talk perfect english, they were fed up same as the British, because they were forced and some volunteered to the war, all men were brought up and males were too.
